he Nottingham Lions’ new training jerseys sponsored by Market Garage and Grapevine Network Management got their first airing during training at the National Ice Centre last night.
Mark Hazeldine from Market Garage in Bulwell was on hand to present the new jerseys to Lions utility man Nick Whyatt and added “We’re delighted to be associated with such a fantastic organisation as the Lions, and I’m sure this partnership will prove to be a big boost for both parties.”
Lions GM Danny Harrison was particularly pleased with the new shirts and the new sponsors commenting “The guys look very smart out on the ice tonight and now all our lines are all properly color-coded which really helps with our drills. We’d like to thank both businesses for their support and we would obviously encourage all fans and anyone else connected with the club to patron these companies and not to forget to mention the Lions when doing so.”
