The Nottingham Lions were in attendance at Trent Bridge Cricket Ground on Wednesday afternoon to join forces with Capital One, Blue Bell Hill Primary School and the National Ice Centre to run the Sport Relief Mile.

Everyone involved had to complete three laps of the world-famous pitch at the home of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club in order to raise funds for a fantastic cause.

All ready for the off, on the hallowed Trent Bridge turf.

The sun was shining down on the test match venue as all the participants completed the fun run mile and thanks to the generosity of Capital One who donated £2 for every runner, approximately £500 was raised.

LionsTV was there to capture the action as well as grab a few interviews – the video can be viewed by clicking here.
