The Nottingham Lions are delighted to announce a partnership with Frankie & Benny’s, Nottingham. Which will see the popular restaurant’s logo appear on the Lions’ jerseys for the 2012/13 season.

The New York Italian Restaurant and Bar is based just a short walk from National Ice Centre on the corner of Upper Parliament Street and Queen Street and its varied and delicious menu is a must try for all the family and any hockey fans wanting some pre-game nourishment.

Lions’ Michael Rose with Restaurant Manager Michelle Flowers and Frankie & Benny’s staff.

Lions’ General Manager Danny Harrison commented:

“It’s a great opportunity to work in partnership with the restaurant and really create a bond that can benefit both organistaions long-term.”

“They already work alongside one of our partners ‘Blue Bell Hill Trust’ and they were keen to work with a local sports club so we were obviously delighted to get involved.”

Restaurant Manager Michelle Flowers added:

“We’re delighted to be supporting the Lions and young and upcoming hockey players in Nottingham – we very much see the Lions as a community-based team, supporting local children, schools and promoting the importance of getting involved in sport.”

“Here at Frankie & Benny’s we realise how important this is for the city and we’re happy to be part of what the Lions are doing and we are looking forward to working together on some exciting projects in the future.”

Aside from regular visits for team breakfasts and evening meals the Lions are also looking forward to organising a number of special social events there in the near future so watch this space for further details.

So if you fancy a friendly and lively location to eat and drink in the middle of Nottingham, we heartily recommend Frankie & Benny’s to all our followers as well as all travelling supporters.
