The fixtures for the upcoming league and cup campaign have been released this morning. The Nottingham Lions begin the campaign with an away trip to the Whitley Warriors, with the first home game at the National Ice Centre on September 15 against the Blackburn Hawks.

The league this year consists of 7 teams who will play each other home and away twice for a 24 game season. The top six sides will then be split into two groups of three teams and will play over three playoff weekends before Finals weekend on April 11/12.

This year the Lions are also playing in the Midlands Cup alongside the Solihull Barons, Sutton Sting, Blackburn Hawks and the Widnes Wild with each side playing each other home and away once with the top four sides reaching the semi-finals (18/19 January) and then the finals (15/16 February).
