The Nottingham Lions travel to North Wales tomorrow to take on the Dragons at Deeside Ice Arena (6.40pm face-off).

First place in the table awaits the victor in this top of the table clash, with Deeside currently sitting just one point behind the Lions and Matt Bradbury’s men will know they’ll have to be on top of their game to keep out the division’s top scorers on their home ice.

Luke Branin gets the better of the Dragons’ Nicholas Saxton during the Lions’ 8-6 win back in September.

Nottingham have had the better of this season’s two previous encounters claiming an 8-6  victory at the National Ice Centre back in September, thanks to a hat-trick from Joe Wightman and a brace from Michael Rose. The return encounter a month later, saw the Lions claw a back a two goal deficit to share the points in a thrilling 3-3 draw.

The Lions hope to welcome back the likes of Elliot Perrin, Christy Johnson-Brown and Callum Worthington-Evans who were all missing from last weekend’s 3-3 tie with the Senators at Ice Sheffield.

For those that can’t make the trip to roar on the boys – then don’t forget you can keep up to date with all the action as it happens by following the Lions’ official Twitter feed.
