Nottingham Lions have duly granted a request by forward Neil Adams to be released from his contract with the club.

The thirty-one year old joined the Lions from Midlands rivals Solihull Barons in the summer but has struggled for form of late and has made the decision to take a break from the sport to spend more time with his family and then re-evaluate his position in the post-season.

Adams picked up two goals and five assists in his twelve appearances for the Lions this season.

Everyone at the Lions’ pride would like to thank Neil for his efforts and wish him all the best for the future.
